A NEW PIECE

This text actually should have been about the novel Grief is the Thing With Feathers, by British author Max Porter. Christopher Rüping absolutely wanted to stage this novel and he had even arranged a staged reading in the Pfauen in March 2020, with drums, five performers, and a crow. Shortly afterwards, however, Corona threw everyone’s plans overboard and so it's only been decided since this week that in 2021, Christopher Rüping will dedicate himself to the Ring des Nibelungen together with playwright Necati Öziri.
